Message from Todd Moore
The announcement of Ricky Thompson as president is well deserved. He will play a big part in the continued growth of the bank. I am really happy for him and us!
Gerald Villarrial has such a great story. Bricklayer, professional musician, lawyer and bank board of director, he has a unique skill set and experience level that allows him to relate to people from all walks of life. His work ethic, professional knowledge and emotional intelligence make him a great board member, and simply one of my all-time favorite people. We are really fortunate to have Gerald on our board.
Our Employee Spotlight this month recognizes Teresa Holcomb. Her department primarily serves the internal lending staff here and she does a great job. Always willing to help, with a smile, and cheerful and positive, Teresa serves as an example of great customer service for others to emulate. Thanks, Teresa, for all you do.
The bank went over $400 million in assets this month! So, keep those referrals coming and see if there is any part of your banking relationship that is not currently with your bank. Our staff will make it easier than you can imagine to move it here--there is a difference in relationship banking, if you have not experienced it personally.
Let me know if we can help with anything, banking or otherwise!

Alliance Bank Central Texas Appoints New President
We are excited to announce the promotion of Ricky D. Thompson to bank president. With 35 years of community banking experience right here in Waco, he knows the importance of making banking easy, all while maintaining the personalized service customers deserve and trust.
“Ricky is an exceptional choice for this leadership role,” said Todd Moore, chairman and CEO. “His deep understanding of relationship banking has served him well over his career, and a quality we value at our bank. He partners closely with business owners and managers, providing the timely support they need amid the fast pace of business today. Simply put, Ricky gets things done for his customers!”
Meet the Board
With over 27 years of litigation experience, and a wide breadth of knowledge and insight in a variety of legal areas, Gerald Villarrial, partner at Dunnam & Dunnam LLP, is a dynamic asset to the Alliance Bank board. He has become a “utility player,” practicing many areas of law over the years, with a specialized focus in family law, criminal law and civil litigation. While Villarrial never dreamed of becoming a lawyer, his father had dreams of his own for his son.
