One way you can help grow your bank is by leaving a positive Google review below. A number of people have opened accounts with us simply from reading reviews online. If you are not already banking with us, give us the opportunity to show you how valuable it is to have a personal banker at your disposal. We can bank you regardless of where you live or work, and we are always just a phone call, text or email away. Many of our customers have our cell numbers, and we encourage them to use them, often!
The bank is fortunate to have a very distinguished and diverse board of directors, who bring a wealth of professionalism and experience. In this edition, we spotlight Sarah Roberts. Sarah is an economic development expert, entrepreneur, community volunteer and leader. Through her company, KSR Capital LLC, she consults on site locations and development all over the country. Thank you, Sarah, for all that you do for the bank, and the citizens of McLennan County and Bell County through your economic development work.
We have experienced 26% loan growth over the past year, allowing us to expand our team to support that growth. The bank is excited to welcome Debra Humphrey, lending assistant, to our team. She has almost 10 years of experience in community and commercial banking, and she’s a great fit with our culture. Plus, she sings opera!
The Business Spotlight shines on Dr. Lassetter and Dr. Cobb who are local dentists rapidly growing their Heart of Texas Smiles practice. New construction has begun on a facility, specially designed for enhanced patient care. We’ll post progress updates throughout the project--it is fun tracking new things and seeing businesses grow here in River City!

Sarah Roberts, founding principal and president, KSR Capital LLC, brings nearly 20 years of experience in real estate development and economic development to the Alliance Bank board. Through her role as an economic development executive, and now as a business owner focused on transformative projects that are disruptors in their industries, Roberts’ deep understanding of innovation, collaboration and negotiation have made a lasting impact on the greater Waco community and beyond. Her contributions to economic growth and development in communities across the country have been widely recognized, including being named as Development Counsellors International’s 40 Under 40 Rising Stars in Economic Development. Her ability to create solutions for complex situations has kept her at the head of the industry, opening the doors to work with innovative clients on new locations that were quite literally the “world’s first.”

With 15 years of combined experience, Dr. Nick Cobb and Dr. Theresa Lassetter are committed to providing patient-centered dental care. Offering near-comprehensive services and advanced technology, they focus on listening to patients as they partner with them in their care. The practice will soon have a new home, just a few doors down, personally designed top to bottom by the two doctors.
